What cigarettes contain the most nicotine and give you the best buzz? I'm a usual American Spirit smoker that throws a pack of Parliaments in there for a mixup, but I also grab a pack of Dunhills (best buzz I've ever had so far) and Nat Shermans when I get the chance.

But what will get me the most buzzed and keeping me from joshing for a cigarette the longest?

Benson & Hedges have a nice kick to them, they are also a very smooth and tasty smoke. Try one, they have been my favorite for the past 21 years. However, like all FSC's, they are not as good as they once were!!! Let me know what you think.

Benson and Hedges used to be a great cig, The menthol version of this brand used to be my alternative if I couldn't get Newports. And I agree B&Hs are a nice strong brand (at least before they became FSCs).

But in response to the Q in this thread, Newport 100's have about 1.5-1.8 mg nicotine in each cig. B&Hs have about 1.0 mg nicotine. If you want the brand with the most nicotine, go with Newport 100s. But I can't tell you how BHs taste now as FSCs. PM actually changed their taste in 2006 as non-FSCs. And I hated that new menthol taste in them. I bet the FSC B&Hs taste a lot more worse!

I agree with CoolJ - If you want a strong buzz take on a Newport. If your not a menthol smoker I'd go for a wide cigarette, Camel Wide's are pretty powerful.

Marlboro's have a high nicotine content. About 9.6%, as opposed to a Camel, which has about 1.7%. American Spirits have a 36% free-base nicotine content. That's the highest I've heard of any cigarette. I've smoked all three brands before. American Spirits are a favorite of mine. I tend to smoke more of those than other brands, though. I'll chalk that up to the high nicotine content.
