Default Question about tobacco dip?

i got a can of dip yesterday and am about half way through it now i haven't gone through it all by my self ive shared quit a bit of it. its the first time ive ever dipped. but anyway i plan on finishing it because i don't wanna a waste my money you know, but i don't think ill do it again afterward because im noticing some pain in my lip and alittle bleeding under my teeth. well anyway about how long should it take for my mouth to heal back to normal, i really don't wanna start this habit. i was just using it as a substitute for smoking till i get more smokes.

Well if you're dipping Copenhagen, it's normal. Because Copenhagen has tiny bits of Microfiber glass that make tiny cuts in your lip, so that the nicotine travels faster and goes through the blood stream rather than your mucoid membrane. And if you had a sore on you lip somewhere, tobacco is bound to effect it. It's normal. Give it a day or two.

Yeah, it's pretty-much normal. I rarely ever dip, but I always enjoyed Skoal straight long-cut. Cope I found to be a bit salty for my tastes...

Yeah that's normal it's just your mouth getting used to dip. When people continually dip your gums toughen up recede a little then stay the same. You occasionally get canker sores and white spots, the rule of thumb is if it doesn't go away after a week or two check with a dentist or doctor. That and your supposed to not dip in the same spot.
