| Hi folks! I'm new to the forum and ordering cigarettes online, but because of the ever-increasing prices of cigarettes, I felt I should look into getting my smokes elsewhere instead of buying them locally. As I’ve found in the past, joining a good forum and asking questions is the best first step. I live in CT and will smoke just about anything that I find on sale (except menthols). What I've been smoking in order of preference are Marlboro Lights, Parliaments (Lights), Camel Lights, Marlboro Mediums & Camel No. 9 (non-menthol). My questions are: Could someone please recommend a good online shop for the above brands at decent prices? On sale, I’m currently paying approx. $5.50 total a pack in my area. Now, most importantly, has anyone had any experience ordering European cigarettes? The prices are very compelling & attractive & IMO can’t be ignored. Are they similar to their American counter-parts and if not, which would be the closest to my above preferences? And, of course, any recommendations for a reputable online source would be greatly appreciated. And lastly, please feel free to recommend less expensive alternatives to the above - either native or otherwise. Thank you in advance for any info you can share. Dave |

| Dave I would recommend going to google and typing in "a good cigarette" or "dbestone" to find a reputable shop out of KY. Here is the problem, democrats are trying to make shipping cigarettes illegal so this may be short lived for you. You can look to Europe for smokes but then again you have a problem which is customs pricing of $30 a carton if they inspect your package (and yes this price is going up to something like $42 in a few months per carton, thanks democrats). European smokes are not the same as what we smoke here so they will take a pack or two to get used to if they are not counterfeit and full of dirt and sand as I have found. Remember also though that at any point the feds can look at smokes purchased out of state and bill you for lost taxes if purchased from Europe or American so it's a no win situation all the way around. Wish I had better news to give you but dems have closed all loopholes with cigarette purchases including passing a law in states (Tenn. for example) where carrying more than two cartons of out of state smokes is a felony. You only true option would be hopping in your car and driving to NC, just remember to keep the smokes in your trunk as police can not use the rule of clear view. |

Any suggestions? Thanks again. Dave |

| If you can tell us what your taste buds are used to we can probably help with guessing the right brand for you up front. Do you smoke menthol or regulars and what strength do you like the smokes to taste like? |

Based on the reviews here and what I've read in a few posts, I ordered a carton of Seneca Lights Kings & a carton of Seneca Lights 100's. I'm hoping these will be a viable substitute for less than half the price I'm currently paying for premiums around here. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks! Dave |

| Two other brands which to me would share a taste of Marlboro lights are Sky Dancers and Kings Mountain. These are available at most smoke shops around the U.S. so you should be able to find them locally. Good luck buddy |

I just received 2 cartons of Senecas from agoodcigarette - 1 kings & 1 100's. Initial impression is they taste pretty darn good compared to premium smokes - maybe better. The cartons I got were made in Canada & I think I read somewhere (maybe one of your posts) that these were quite different from their American counterparts. Could you confirm this & maybe elaborate? Thanks again. Dave |

| About the only way to tell the origin is to look at the pack and see if there are any Canadian Maple Leaves on it? They will be small and hidden in the design. If no you should be good to go. If you don't mind will you post back after smoking the first and second carton to report any harshness of the smokes. The Canadian versions are very harsh and to me cause chest pains while the American counterpart versions are great smokes without chest pains or "lung hacking" the next morning. Glad you found something reasonable Twig . |

| I also live in CT, and the allure of European cigarette prices is very appealing to me as well. However I'm very interested in finding a way to acquire Black Devil cigarettes. Has anyone tried E-Tobaccos.com? |
