Well, some crazy shit happened today that I thought was pretty interesting. One of my friends is a lawyer that I talk to quite alot and hang out with a lot at bars and restaraunts around my hometown. Well, heres what happens, me and him are at a shopping mall today and we light up our cigarettes in front of the mall. Next thing we know, some gay ass mall cop decides to start shit with us and says "No smoking here". My lawyer friend laughed in his face and said "I don't see any "no smoking" signs posted here, bud. Why don't you go grab yourself a doughnut and leave us be, ok?" and me and him just laughed at the cop. The cop says "The law says that you are not allowed to smoke within 100 feet in front of a public building." and my friend just laughs and says "The law also says that the government has no right to infringe on my personal property or my personal lifestyle. So don't even get me started, I've had a shitty day at the law firm and you can sit here and threaten to file a complaint about something pointless and something that would be a waste of the judge's time, or you can just casually walk away and pretend this conversation never happened." So, this mall cop just says "You have a good day, sir" and he did exactly that, he just walks away. Like I said, it does help to have an attorney as your friend.
