| Just wanted to state the obvious....Obama is an asshole. Being a smoker I can not imagine the second I would step into power I would literally stab fellow smokers in the back. Obama raises taxes on smokes and plans to again......Obama is going to give the FDA room to regulate the tobacco industry......Obama is in support of pictures of lung cancer and the little kids saying "please don't poison us" on packs like our Canadian counterparts........ Do you think he will get the point when Phillip Morris and RJR follow plans to leave the country? (PM wants to re-locate to Asia and RJR to Europe). Do you realize how many jobs he has cut in different industries? How could anyone here have voted for him........ I don't know if I am more pissed at what Obama has done or just mad at the complete ignorance of American voters. He made CLEAR before the election this would happen but I know many smokers who still voted for him. At least he will hammer us again next year when the "if you make below 250K you taxes will not increase" is over. I believe the new number was 75k and under for the next year but please correct me if I am wrong? |

| It's only going to get a lot worse if smokers' continue to procrastinate and do nothing to try to stop the US Senate from passing S.1147 (the PACT Act). It passed the US House of Representatives on May 21. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee where there are 12 Democrats and 7 GOP hashing over it. The bill has 6 Hardcore Democratic sponsors that won't be persuaded to let it go. That leaves 44 US Senators that need to be contacted by their smoking constituents. I have called, emailed and sent hand written letters to my two state Senators over the last few weeks stating my position in opposition to this bill. Smokers everywhere need to do the same and they need to do it ASAP! I can't post the link here but, if you go to the CigReviews Home page, and click on "Cigarette Links", there is a link there titled "Urgent Action Needed". Click that link today. Read and follow the instructions. You will be glad you did. Smokers need to become involved. Time is of the Essence. Get involved in the political process. If you are a smoker and you fail to act, then you will have to go to the store to buy tobacco products of every kind. Nobody will be able to buy online ever again! You think the prices are too high now? Don't take a stand on this and you will soon be a bottom feeder of the "New Slavery". Again, go to the CigReviews Home Page, click on "Cigarette Links" and click on "Urgent Action Needed" and do your part by expressing your opposition to S.1147 (the PACT Act). PLEASE |

| Oh, so they decided to not ban menthols, despite antis' efforts to get those banned as well. That's good in theory. As long as I keep my right to buy em online.

| Obama IS a socialist and this is proof. I'm sure he will ban/control/ruin more in this nation like alchohol and media censorship. I can't wait to see what is next. I wonder if the taste will change in cigarettes? I REALLY hate seeing the govt. control private business, it is such a Nazi move. |

| The dude's trying to play god by putting sinners through some tax hell. His solutions to our economic strength so far have been nothing but superficial. I've yet to meet anyone who likes and respects the guy. It would not surprise me if he eventually gets caught with his pants down like with Nixon and gets impeached.

| The taste of cigs has already changed now that we have FSCs. And it's evident most smokers hate the taste of FSCs. I'm surprised nobody has attempted to assassinate Obama yet.

Haha, that actually sounds like a good plan, I mean about RJR and PM wanting to relocate. I can't say I blame them. I think I may just have to leave this damn country as well and move to Europe or Asia and go somewhere else if the government keeps pulling this shit they do on smokers. |
