Did my research, and they're no longer provided in Canada, from the incredibly helpful (no sarcasm intended, it really was) customer service email they sent me. I just - yesterday - finally found a store here that had a few packs left in the back, and I love the taste. Does anyone here know an easier way than a border-crossing to get them up here? Is it illegal to get them shipped up to Canada (Toronto, specifically)?

Not illegal by any means to import them.....

2 things you need to know though:

1. The shipper must mark the box as going to a consumer (customs form) or the government you live under can charge you up to 45 CAN (per carton) just for customs fees.

2. Finding a seller stateside who will "book" shape the order is the only way to guarantee customs keeps their hands off your package.


I thought the U.S. was full of crap but the Canadians sure stick it to their people even more.

Other option is to roll your own with lose tobacco from here. Customs is easier on transport and most large carriers (fedup, Upsdown) will carry the package.

why don't you have american spirits shipped to you from an online retailer...i don't think there is a problem for an online retailer to ship the cigarettes to you in canada, check out their 'top rated shops" on this site and those are some retailers, but they are domestic...there are some overseas retailers as well, but i trust the domestic companies more because you can actually get a hold of someone regarding your order. With the overseas companies, i've found, AT TIMES, that your money disappears into a gaping black hole and no product arrives, but not always.

problem with him is going to still be customs fees. They are $25 usd a carton here (trust me I know) and high for Canadians. If he has the cash to burn feel free .
