| I need some help. I try to smoke cigarettes (I know the health effects) but I'm not very experienced at it and I want a brand that I can stick to. I need something that's not very difficult to inhale but tastes good and is NOT super popular (like Marbs and Camels). Can someone help me out please? What's a good brand for my situation? Thanks! |

| A good suggestion is Dunhill. You can try also State Express 555 and Davidoff. If you can smoke strong unfiltered cigarettes try also Lucky Strike and Chesterfield. I am not expert in the US tobacco market, but you can ask your tobacconist for a cigarette or a R.Y.O. that contains Turkish/Oriental tobaccos which are unique and much better than Virginia and Burley tobaccos. |

| These Nat Sherman's I heard about are now FSCs. I saw a pack of Nat Sherman menthols online and it had the FSC letters on the bar code.

If you're going for non-menthol I'd recommend Camel Filters, Camel Wide filters or Marlboro Blend No. 27s. |

| Kool Milds would be good for someone who wants a light menthol. Benson and Hedges is a good menthol brand too before they became FSC. B&Hs used to be like a less stronger version of Newports. But what I like about that menthol brand is Benson and Hedges Menthols are a lot more mintier than Newports. B&Hs taste like crap ever since they became FSCs. I recall trying FSC Benson and Hedges Menthols once.

| I agree that it's all about tastes. It's hard to recomend a brand. No two taste bud chemistrys are alike. It's best to try a few different brands and experiment. Plus it's fun to experiment. I'd like to try a couple brands mentioned here such as hint of mint. If you run into a brand you don't like, stash it in the freezer for emergency. If you're looking for a decent discount brand. I've found Mavericks or Liggets to be good where the others taste too chemicalish. The next guy might say I'm full of crap but again it boils down to taste bud chemistry. If you're willing to invest 40 bucks in a good rolling machine, you can venture into the more exotic stuff and save some money over commercial. Lots of dough rolling the standard variety. The topomatic is a good machine. I been rolling 1.5 packs a day with it for over 3 months and it works just as good as the day I bought it. Settled on Gambler turkish for everyday smoking because it's cheap, mellow, packs beautifully in the machine, and tastes really good. But again, it's taste bud chemistry.
