I remember the DARE class, and I think they did that to us to scare us. I hate when pro-pot idiots go on rants about how tobacco is legal so weed should be also, meanwhile they are still living in their parent's basements, sleeping on a couch from the 70's and have no job.
I hate pot heads. I admit I have smoked pot a couple times in my life and had a good time, went to bed, and continued with my life the next morning. Pot is too much of a hassle to smoke all the time. It spaces you out, it makes you retarded, you don't want to do anything but eat when you smoke it, and the people who are dependent on it never seem to bathe very often.
I'm glad that weed isn't legal because imagine all the high idiots we would have to deal with on an everyday basis. I worked at a gas station on night shift back in college and when the doped up jackasses came in at 4 in the morning for anything they could devour, I would get annoyed from having to ring them up and wait for them to fumble in their coats for like an hour to find their crumpled up money. At least cigarettes only annoy a person who doesn't smoke when they walk through your cloud out on the sidewalk, and then they keep walking and that's the end of it. Potheads are a constant annoyance with their poor hygiene, dead facial expressions, and inability to hold an intelligent conversation.

The thing is , marijuana has just as many carcs as a cig but unless you smoke 20 joints a day for many years , the amount will never equal a cig habbit.

People smoke a pack+ a day of cigs , it would take a ton of weed (more then a HEAVY stoner) to equal that. It's pretty impossible that's why you don't hear people of dying of JUST POT.

But most pot smokers don't just smoke pot so I'm sure it's played a little role in some smokers who smoke both's health but a pot only user won't get cancer , never been recorded.

Pot needs to stay illegal I don't care what anyone says the USA doesn't need to be a stoned country no one will want to work or anything , just be couchers!!!

The fact is that marijuana vaporizers are much less harmful or can say that it is not harmful because it consist of the natural herbs as an active ingredients which does not burn them but only heats it resulting in no toxic substances. so it is preferable to use marijuana than smoking tobacco.

When it comes to pot vs. cigarette debate I'll just say this: I'll rather sit in a car with the driver that has had 3 packs of cigarettes that day than with a driver who has smoked 2 joints.
Don't get me wrong, I know people that can smoke a field of weed and still act more or less normally but I also know people who after a joint act as if they've drank a bottle of vodka

Smoking is always harmful and injurious to health but it also depends upon the way you are taking it that is if you are really addicted to smoking and cant give it up at least follow some safe method which don't affect your body to that extent. I can smoking of weed or marijuana through a vaporizer is no harm and is safe because it uses the herbs and which doesn't produce toxic substances.

Cannabis isn't addictive. Well not physically addictive like cigs, alcohol, and heroin are. People can become psychologically dependent to it...just as they can to sex, food, masturbating, video games, anything that gives pleasure really.

Weed is easier for high schoolers to get than alcohol is. If someone wants to smoke bud chances are they are already smoking it. Keeping it illegal doesn't stop anyone from getting it. Just causes people who want to use a harmless recreational substance to have to go through the hassle of buying it on the black market rather than at the local 7-11. Not to mention the massive amount of money we waste fighting the "war on drugs", giving the federal government powers it shouldn't need, fueling the mexican drug cartels who kill thousands, denying sick people effective natural medicine, depriving the country of producing and selling inexpensive quality hemp products, missing out on tax revenue from cannabis, the list of benefits from legalizing are huge. But your right we should definitely keep it illegal to protect the country from turning into stereotypical pot heads so you don't have to deal with super high people. It's worked wonders so far, people barely even smoke weed nowadays!

I would think that weed is slightly more dangerous than tobacco. Ever look at all the resin that forms in a pipe after pot is smoked in it? Maybe tobacco would leave as much tar and resin too, not really sure on that though. But I do agree that people could never smoke enough pot in one day to ever equal a one or two pack a day cigarette habit. The other danger would be being impaired after smoking pot and driving, which every pothead seems to love to do as they all seem to think that they can smoke pot and it doesn't effect them but they're WRONG.

My question for the Pro pot supporters is why would you want pot legalized? If it was legal the government would get involved and regulate it like cigarettes. Do you really want your pot taxed to death like tobacco? Yes i know pot now costs more per ounce than tobacco but how much do you think pot will cost if the government is involved. Also look at what they've done to our cigarettes with fsc paper. It won't take them long to start making our RYO tubes and papers fsc. My advice to the pro pot supporters is leave it illegal just the way it is now, cuz once the government gets involved, they'll take away any enjoyment you get out of it.
