Default Should I start smoking?

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get your advice.

About ten years ago, when I was an impressionable teen, I sneakily tried a couple of cigarettes. Nothing came of it as the person I got them from stopped smoking soon after.

Ever since then, every few months I've had a craving for cigarettes, even manifesting in a crazy dream or two. I'm curiously eager to give it another go and see if I still enjoy it, as I really did the first time.

This is a really tricky decision and any advice would be appreciated.

Give it a shot, if you're able to smoke a few back then and not pick up the habit than you're golden

That's the thing, I think I have the compulsion to smoke, I'm just never in a position to do it. The only reason I don't smoke is because I don't come across cigarettes in my everyday life. If I let my mind know they're freely available and I could have them anytime, there could be a serious problem.

Saying that, I've frequently contemplated buying a packet, sneaking behind the house and lighting up. One day I may just do it.

I gave in and tried smoking a couple of cigarettes again last night.

Strangely not as enjoyable as the first time all those years ago.

It wasn't bad by any means, it just felt oddly arbitrary. I took the smoke in, blew it out and... didn't really think much of it. No rush, no relaxation, no nothing.

I honestly don't think this is going to become the habit I thought it would. For the prices they're asking, you'd expect abit more of a buzz.

The only downside is now I'm gonna be smelling it for the next day or two.
