| Not sure if they're fake and I've never heard of that brand but that big smoking kills warning on the front of the pack looks like the warnings on some of the cigarettes I've bought from Europe. How do they taste? |

| Are you in Europe? That's what they put on the packs there. There was also some recent news about trying to get those big warning labels on cigarettes in the U.S. Actually the Feds are finalizing the new rules for warning labels on cigarettes packs and I'd expect to see these on all packs soon... ![]() Check out the article here American Heart Association CEO Nancy Brown says Graphic Warning Labels are Critical to... -- WASHINGTON, May 26, 2011 |

This why I have been saving my empty packs of Lucky Strikes. I will re-pack my cigs and toss those stupid new packs. |

Embassy Number 1 is known as Number 1 in certain countries (like the USA) because another company will have the rights to the name "Embassy". Here's a comparison below (old style packaging) ![]() ![]() Current packaging: ![]() ![]() So if you think it's fake because of the name difference, that's not the case. Fakes usually have *exactly* the same packaging as the UK ones, even down to the "UK Duty Paid" mark. |

| In the UK be cautious where you buy your pre-made smokes. You should stick with trusted retailers. The counterfeit brands, most of which are made in China by criminals, contain 2-3 times the lead and contain other other harmful ingredients not found in brand name smokes. You save $$$ but get to your grave far earlier. |

No, they're not fake, they are some of the most exspensive in the UK at over £7 a pack. Lots of snide about at the moment at £3 odd a packet but you can tell as the packs aren't quite right, stupid spelling mistakes etc and if you do buy them, 1 cig will confirm as they taste and smell horrible. All sawdust and chemicals ! lol |
