Default Fire Safe?

I have recently been noticing that my cigarettes have been going out and i keep having to relight them. This is not the only problem with these new cigs, they taste much worse, they irratate my throat. i am not very happy that all cigarettes by January 1st have to meet these new requirements.
My friend used to roll his own cigs using a big bag of tabacco a roller and 200 unfilled cigarette tubes. The whole thing costed about 18 bucks and the cigarettes were not bad at all. The only thing i'm worried about is if the companie are going to start making the unfilled cigarette papers fire safe or not. Does anyone know the answer because i'd really like to know. thank you

Hey -funk madness, You're not the first to notice problems with the (so called) "Fire-Safe" cigarettes. But it sounds like so far you've gotten off the hook comparitively easily. Simply google: 'FSC Cigarettes', you could spend a few weeks reading testemonials by people who have been inflicted. This is quite serious. For your own good and for everybody's own good, I stongly urge you and everyone who smokes, as well as loved ones of those who smoke, and all concerned, to sign the petition to repeal fire safe cigarette laws. It looks as though you are going to have to google it, as this forum doesn't seem to be letting me post the link for you. BUT, this is REAL serious. Please google: thepetitionsite.com/1/repeal-fire-safe-cigarette-laws

Please take the time to read at least some of the testimonials/comments of many who have already supported this petition.

I hope this helps, and seriously, very, very seriously, for the love of humanity, yes, really; please spread this petition as far as possible. This is no joke.

Again, no joke,
Leatherneck.

What do you all think about these new FSC Cigarettes?? They use a so called Fire Safe Paper....The hot ashes fall off more.....they make me sick and taste like crap!!
What is your opinion? How can state governments pass these laws without letting us have a say?

Has this Paper been tested on humans?? What are the side effects...

One sig I read on the petition said that there are CHEMICALS in the fire-safes that make em taste like sheet. This smoker claimed he broke down the cig, and saw no "speed bumps" on the paper. Maybe it's the chemicals in the fire-safes that make your cig go out on tis own.

I hope the lit end aint falling off of your cig when it wants to!
