Default Have you tried any other forms of tobacco?

So I've been interested in tobacco in general and I was just wondering if anyone else here has tried other forms of tobacco? Like pipes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, etc.

I've tried chew (Chatanooga Chew specifically, did taste pretty good but almost zero buzz from what I recall), Dipping (Longhorn Wintergreen & Long Cut Straight, pretty awesome buzz but not a long lasting flavor imo), Smokeless Ariva/Stonewall tablets (Seemed to work in a pinch but took a while to dissolve, no spitting was good, claimed to have lower TSNA levels), Marlboro spearmint snus (No buzz and not alot for the money IMO, kinda a waste, didn't taste too horrid though), Nasal Snuff (Navy Sweet Scotch Snuff, cool stuff, not sure how much of a buzz but nice aroma and seems to get the job done), Pipe (Carter Hall pipe tobacco in a miniature wood pipe, good taste, nice aroma, pretty cool if you like the taste of smoke, I don't inhale), also tried a disposable e-cig, not really tobacco but hey (Not good for 15$, didn't last long enough, I'd go for the starter kit if I was going to try again, didn't produce enough vapor to satisfy me, was good for getting hits in though). Also did the RYO thing, been through Gambler, Top, Drum, 4 Aces, I'd say Drum was pretty awesome except it's a pretty vile aroma (I do recall some douche at a party remarking it stank). Only had cheap cigars and little cigars so can't remark much on those because a stogie costs like 6$> for a good one.

Anyone else?

Good day Moonlight;
I've been smoking cigarettes for around 16 years now, dipping (and SNUS) and cigars for around ten years now, and have recently taken up the pipe (Christmas '10) and nasal snuff (couple of months back).
I am somewhat of a glutton for punishment, particularly when it comes to dip; my preferred brand is Skoal Longcut Wintergreen...nice nic hit, and the flavour isn't overwhelming.
Cigars, while, I am lucky enough to have a decent selection of both good Cuban and Non-Cuban in my local B&M; lately I've been on a Cohiba kick, but I am all over the place; even the vaunted Pom Pom Opera has a place in my humidor (not going to burn a Bolivar when I'm plastered!)
With nasal snuff, I lean towards the offerings from Toque; be forewarned though, they are not (for the most part) granulated like Euro snuff, so some refinement in technique is required...particularly for the "toasts". I haven't been able to snuff enough of their Cheese and Bacon offering this month, but normally, I find the Toffee flavour gets me going.
As for my pipes, well, I've currently got somewhere between 15 and 20 open tins on the go - in the morning, I lean towards Oriental, Balkan or English tobacco, by noon, I've switched up to a VaPer or straight Va., and following dinner, I tend towards aromatic burleys, or goopy cavs.
With the cigarettes; I smoked taylor mades pretty much exclusively up until just a few days ago - now, I'm hand rolling Drum, and much happier for it!

Adam

I use tobacco in all forms.

-pipe
-chew
-snus
-snuff
-cigarettes
-roll your own
-cigars

But I try to do so in moderation. Remember American Indians viewed tobacco as a strong medicinal herb.

They didn't go around daily smoking or chewing.

Use it in moderation.

Copenhagen snuff, that stuff is the best, unfortunately it tears the mouth up.If it stayed fresh Id buy a can and dip once in awhile but stays fresh a mere 2 days after opening.I have smoked a pipe, its ok.Snus is not for me.My current vice is Marlboro 27 and Lucky Strike non filter.Dan
