Default smokeandsave.net a scam?

Hi everyone,

I ordered some Marlboros from smokeandsave.net a month ago and never got a shipment from them. I got a fake "confirmation call" from them the day after my order, but no confirmation email and they never replied to my email requests.

Did you ever get scammed by them? It looks like I won't get anything from them.

Also, do you have more reliable order sites to recommend?

potatoehead,

I'd call them up and find out what's going on. I've ordered from them in the past with no problems. Have you called or emailed them yet?

I am ordering with this company for months now. If I were you, I would first of all check my spam box; sometimes their emails can get stuck there (it happened to me before I added them to my white list). Also, you should check that they didn’t charge you for this order you didn’t receive. The first time I ordered with them, I didn’t have enough money on my credit card so they couldn’t process the order. They immediately called me and we decided to charge my card a week later. Since then, every order goes smoothly and works just fine. They all arrive on time with fresh cigarettes.
Something similar may have happened to you. I assume that if the customer service can’t reach you in this case, they automatically fail the order.
I recommend you contacting them (through the toll free or by email). Their customer service was really helpful as far as I remember.

They did charge my card. I called today and the guy at the other end said it was shipped on Feb. 8.

I am having a hard time believing it.

You should have user name and password, use it to check when it is suppose to arrive. If it is past the time, call them, see what they offer or ask for refund.
Customer service that actually answers the phone - will assist you.
I found out that their customer service is very helpful.

I'll call them one last time today. If I get nothing by Wednesday, they will discover what a "charge back" means on a credit card.

In the end, I never got my cigs from them and I requested that they refund me.

Twice, they told to wait two more days and I would be sure to get my shipment. Twice, this failed.

They gave me a USPS tracking number, and that number was invalid on the USPS site.

Now, they say that the refund will appear only in 12 days on my credit card. I don't believe them. I hope they don't force me to do a charge back.

I am convinced that smokeandsave.net is a scam. Maybe they were honest before, but none of what I have seen from them can make me think they really ship what you order today.
