| They are not trying to stop us from smoking. They are trying to stop us from buying tobacco products online. The way they are doing that is to make all tobacco products into "Non-mailable matter" which stops the US Postal Service from delivering tobacco products. | They don't give a shit if we stop smoking or not. They're only concerned about all the money they're generating. The reason they're getting away with these drastic tax increases is because smokers are a minority in this country. So they can pretty much do whatever they want to us such as forcing us out into the streets and hit us with new taxes every few months. We are an easy target. |

8.00 a pack in Washington now higher than New York and Behind only Rhode Island which strikes me as a really odd state to have a high tax on cigs. I use snus and nasal snuff and smoke on average 3-5 a day decided I wasn't going to have the government make me stop. I bought a gambler injector, a 5oz bag of largo pipe tobacco, and 200 premier tubes (which seem crappy I've got a thirty percent success rate at not folding the the tube and having to ditch it) for under 25 bucks. Even though My smoke was uneven and not filled it was the best I've had actually tastes like tobacco, and any FSC crap symptoms are gone or reduced and typical like dry mouth throat sore when you inhale wrong.

$6.50 average price in texas...they're going to tax us to death, literally...by the way, if you haven't tried eCigarettes, or electronic cigarettes, you might want to give it a shot...from a cost perspective, they are far more reasonable, you still get the nicotine urge resolved, and you can smoke it indoors! And they can't tax it as a cigarette! At least, not yet....

Hello all. Just wondering if anyone from the U.K has ever bought cigs online - any reccomendations? I just place an order on the net a few days ago, and am now biting my nails till they arrive... I keep coming across Americans, complaining about the cost of cigs there - I would love to be paying what you're paying!!! Just to put it in perspective, I bought 20 Benson and Hedges (lovely smokes) from my local shop this morning for £6.40 - to our American friends that translates as $9.24!!! For 20 cigs!! F*cking thieving bastards!! Generating revenue like that, customs here are understandably hot on smuggled cigs, and I have heard many of these online cig sellers' parcels are intercepted - has anyone suceeded in buying any cigs online mailed to U.K? If so where did you get them from? Cheers for reading.

My husband and I live in North Carolina. We both smoke Camels, he smokes Camel lights and I smoke Camel Methol Lights. We go to this one store that has a two pack deal, 2 for 6.99 which was just recently raised from 5.99 - still a good deal. Now I can't always find the Camel Methol Lights so I will smoke Newport Lights. I get some coupons in the mail about once a month which will give me $1 off a pack. Since the price for Newports are about 4.75, it's a good deal with the coupon. Still MUCH better than up north. We're originally from CT and he's there now working....says the price is between $7-8 per pack. And I just heard they're going up in NY to $11! It's NUTS!! Glad we don't live there!
