I buy Camel Crushes for $5.50 a pack, pretty good I'd say

Hey guys,

I only buy online ive been buying from some aussie company and usually get them no worries and the really cheap EURO 21.98 for marlborough

Ive tried a few sites but these guys are cheap i just don't bother buying from my local shop anymore.

A carton of most brands in Chicago, including Marlboros and Newports, is 80 bucks each.

If you go to a Chicago suburb to buy cigs, a carton is 65 bucks each...that's still too darn expensive.

The Pall Mall Light 100s went back up to $24 a carton at Walgreens. Now, I've switched to Basic Light 100s. The Basic's are $18 a carton and $14 if you have the $4 coupon. I had two of those and I used both so far. I also have 2 $3 off coupons still and some $1 off a pack coupons.

It would be nice if Obama could become a friend to tobacco and strike down HR5912 when it gets to him.

Yeah, well, Obama ain't going to be a friend to tobacco. They don't listen to the 65 million smokers up there in Washington that voted them in. They only listen to a few dozen Anti's and their lies. Obama has already appointed a major Anti person to be part of his cabinet. Obama will never know the truth about all this mess until HE goes online and tries to order tobacco products for himself and finds out he can't do it. Then, his advisors will get his smokes for him. He won't be allowed to think for himself. I wish he could reverse the policies of Clinton regarding smoking but, he will support whomever throws him the most cash. And whomever gets the first soundbyte. He will never even read HR5912; just sign it and say: "What's next". That bill is going to be the beginning of the end to all online sales of any products, not just tobacco. IMHO

Well for stuff like Marlboro's and Camels it's usually $4.25-$4.75 a pack, Pall Malls are about $3.80-$4.20 a pack if you're lucky, but Lucky Strikes are about $3.50 a pack.

I'm smoking 305's Lights 100s box this week and they cost $14.99 at my local gas station for a carton. They sell packs there at 3 for $5.00 which is cheaper than the convenience store across the street that charges 3 for $5.81 .

That ain't as cheap as me paying 14 bucks for a carton of Blackhawk Menthols, a Native brand specifically made by the online shop I'm a customer at.

And besides, I heard of smokers getting their orders seized when they buy cartons from foreign-based online smoke shops. I assume the US Govt seizes those very cheap cartons sent over from Europe.

And even if you lucky to get the order, I'd have to wait for TWO FCKIN WEEKS BEFORE I GET MY SMOKES??

Waiting for a lil more than 2 weeks afta I place my order is a turn-off in itself for me when it comes to the foreign shops. When I buy from my shop, it takes me about a week (5 work days actually) to get my cartons.

Mostly it happens when a carton goes from the USA to a foreign country. The foreign country customs officials can hold up the delivery for up to eight months and many times if the package states what the contents are, the package is stolen by those same customs officials.

It DOES take 3 weeks or more to get a carton IN to the USA. AND you can only get 1 carton of 200 cigs at a time or 2 cartons of 100 cigs. Some foreign sites are now breaking the rules and sending more than one carton. Some sites offshore send you multiple packages if you order more than the 1 carton of 200. Example: you order five cartons and they send you 5 packages of 1 carton each.

Be prepared to be "turned-off" as you say if you order from a site that is overseas.
