yep, you are correct. 1 carton = 5 packs of 20 cigarettes... = 100 cigarettes... thy are about £25 each. which is like $40-$45.

So, is that the standard carton size in UK? I mean if you go to the store and buy Marlboro or Camel smokes and ask for 1 carton, you get a box with 100 cigarettes inside? Or maybe a box with 5 packs x 20 cigarettes? Do they sell cartons of 200 in the UK? I'm in the USA and I've never seen or heard of a 100 cigarette carton of Marlboros or Camels or any other top premium brand.

Well, at $80-$90 usd for a 200 cigarette carton, you would definitely save a bundle by ordering online. Is there still a savings after you add in the shipping and any tariffs or no?

Sad as it is, I never buy cartons. I never have the damn money. I've bought them once or twice and I think they were about 40 bucks, but as far as packs go here they're about 4 and some change depending on what you buy. These are Indiana prices by the way.

Yes, I have noticed a quiet decrease in the price of cigs lately. I think Marlboros dropped down to about 3.76 a pack. Camels are about 4.15 or 4.20 I think. Winstons are about 4.50.

What I recently discovered that was very interesting to me, is that I buy a cube of Shermans (five packs) for thirty dollars at my local tobacco shop- yet on the Nat Shermans website, they go for fifty bucks! Could this just be NY state tax because they're made there? Other brands like Camels, Marbs, etc. go for about 5 bucks a pack here in Utah. Cartons for about 50. So if I buy one pack of Shermans here, Im only paying 50 cents more per pack- which is just fine with me! Smokes should be FREE DAMMIT! lol...

I'm still paying 15-17 bucks a carton for Pall Mall lights 100s from Walgreens drug store in my neighborhood. Online, I'm getting Native brands for 7-12 bucks a carton and they come from either KY or NY. Nat Sherman products are $42.95 a cube at the local store and 30-35 bucks a cube online. I've bought the NS's on sale online for $21.95 a cube too.

I just bought a cube of Nat Shermans Classic lights for only $15 at a local tobacco outlet. I was buying Kretek Cherry Dreams when I mentioned that I would buy the NS's but they cost too much. The clerk said: "what the heck" and sold me a cube that had a price of $33.95 for just $15! This must have been my lucky day. He wouldn't sell me more than one cube at that price and he almost changed his mind when I asked for 3 cubes. heh heh

I never buy cigs by the carton, I usually buy like 2 or 3 packs at a time. I'm currently smoking Kentucky's Best right now, because these are pretty much the cheapest smokes we got where I live, and they're also not too shabby. I pay like 3.28 per pack of KY's best, so I guess a carton of KY's best for me would be about $32.00, which isn't too bad. I know my nickname is "CamelMan" but lately I've just been strapped for cash, and really need to save my money, so that's why I've switched to KY's best until I can get some more cashflow going. 35 for a carton of marlboros eh? Dang, a carton here would be like $42.00 or something like that.
