First of all besides making us sick, terrible cough & can't get mucus up, sick to our stomachs, bad headaches etc. They are NOT firesafe, it happened to me 2x's now if you are smoking & take your eye off cig it gets down just abit & the lit end falls off. It burned a rug on me & then freaked me out when I happened to look & there was no lit end searched on couch, clothes etc. So I def don't smoke & drive! This is firesafe? Also anyone who has pets be careful, our dog who sleeps w/my daughter started pulling his tail in & under would not wag it as usual. He laid around & hardley moved, was going to take him to vet since he also was falling. Well my daughter who smoked in her room decided to quit & aired it out good. Guess what after awhile the dog came back to normal. So it's killing our pets too, she felt so bad never happened w/reg cig.

Maybe they don't care about that. If you're smoking and drop an ash and set something on fire, they'll say that clearly you are the one responsibile. Whereas, if you leave it in an ashtray and it goes out, it's doing it's job. I'm sure it's only a matter of what they can be sued for. Stupid as it is, they've likely been sued because someone fell asleep or walked away from a lit cigarette and somehow the tobacco company was blamed because the person wasn't there or was unconscious. Whereas, if it's in your hands, they're going to say you're aware and responsible for anything that happens.

The only time I have ever started a fire with my cigarette is with the FSC paper. I had emptied my ashtray in the trash and about 10 minutes later I noticed the smoke everwhere - These are so very dangerous!!! This has never happened to me before this and I have smoked over 30 years now. Plus they stain your fingers and didn't before, so what does that tell you? Yes the inventor (some cigarette company) is so powerful they can get their own laws passed so they can make more money. This paper makes you sick and cough and it raises a cancer marker in your blood. The reason I know this is because I get my blood tested 2 times a year and when I started smoking the FSC paper is when the cancer test went way high. Im sure it happens to everyone's blood the same way. Of course it would, it's dangerous, much more than regurlar paper. We need a revolution in this country where people/smokers stand up to the big companys and our govt. who stands behind them. With the economy in shambles right now, they need us smokers as never before. We have the power if people would just get it going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just so tired of it all. WE HAVE THE POWER right now, I just wish smokers would use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have a 2" long burn on my kitchen linoleum floor fom a "firesafe" cigarette that fell out of an ashtray and onto the floor. I have to say it was MY fault it got on the floor to begin with BUT it did not go out. It burnt to the filter then went out. Was a Pall Mall red 100. I am just glad I didn't burn the house down. I had laid it on the edge of the table [stupid in it's own rite] and my grand daughter needed me. I got caught up in the moment and when I remembered what I had done it was too late. I guess it rolled off the table to the floor when I slid my chair up. Point is the FSC is a JOKE! Just some more crud they put in our smokes.
