Sorry to Hear the EU is going to join this senseless nonsense that is FSC. So will this affect cigarettes from Eastern Europe? Are those former Soviet bloc countries part of the EU? Just curious how this will affect dutyfree cigs that we buy online. The Free World seems to be getting smaller and smaller. The cold war is over but somehow it seems communism prevailed.

Depends, Poland is in EU while Ukraine is pretty much the last bastion of non EU freedom. I just got a pack of Polish cigs and they are FSC.

Will Ukraine cave in and join? Who knows.
