Is there ANYONE here who doesnt mind the FSC, can't really notice a difference or at least can tolerate it enough to keep buying packs? just curious.

FSC mandates was the final straw that led me to MYO smokes.

Ancedotal as it may be far too many folks were noticing changes after smoking FSC cigarettes. I did as well.

There are no REAL studies as to the safety of FSC bands in the paper. The FTC, (a joke agency when it comes to actually protecting the public vs helping industry) stamped their approval and that was that.

Well, my father (who is in his late 60's) smokes FSC without any complaint, but he has recently cut down to 3-4 smokes a day, so that's hardly a typical case.

When the 'gubment' starts chasing down and stopping the flow of overseas non-FSC smokes, I sincerely hope that a robust and well-organized black market arises to meet the demand. Of course, I can't be sure there isn't already such a thing in existence, black markets being sort of secretive and all...

The fact is that there must be a lot of people willing to put up with these nasty-tasting and annoying glue-sticks or the lousy lawyering bums who schemed up the FSC laws wouldn't have risked losing the all-important tax revenues.

That 'the people' (the citizens for, by and of whom democracy allegedly exists) have been conditioned to put up with this kind of dictatorial gubment meddling in their personal, recreational choices without even a token resistance is an indication that they will definitely be willing to put up with a lot worse, so rest assured a lot worse will be inflicted upon 'the people'.

They say people get the government they deserve. I really oughta move.

I don't know the effects of the fsc but along the road somewhere somebody is going to get sick or have a law suit from it eventually, but not until it's too late when people who have been smoking it will it happen.

I heard there are 1000 new chemicals in order to produce FSC paper, so who only knows what all we are smoking inside of our cigarettes...the truth is we are all smoking at our own risk, we all know it isn't good for us, and make a decision to smoke anyway. Last thing I want is for others to decide for me.
