I have heard a lot about them but what is the deal with them? I have a friend that smokes all the time and I am trying to find something to help him kick the habit since I don't want him to kick the bucket on me.

I read these things are good for taking the edge of the nicotine but don't have all the crappy chemicals in them, is that true? There has to be some downside to it, right?

What is up Reecius! I have been asking myself this same question since i heard about these crazy electronic cigarettes. I have been a smoker for over ten years ( i'm Only 26) and i am very skeptical about this new technology. I am thinking that there has to be a downside to these things. There is no way that these are has happy go lucky as every one says they are. I'm at the point where i am going to give in b.c i'm only twenty 26 and i can run around the block without wanting to pass out b.c i can't breathe. I have a friend that said he tried a few different brands and finally found the one that suits him fine. He has told me he hasn't had any weird side effects or anything like that. They are called blu electronic cigs and he highly recommends that i try them. He told me he hasn't smoked a real cigarette in over five months. He also told me that anything is better than the smoke you inhale from a real cigarette. i think i'm going to try them.

I quit December 3, 2009 using the Vapor King from V4L.com. I used to smoke about 12-15 Benson & Hedges a day. I feel 1000% better!

Reecius if you want that your friend quits smoking then offer him electronic cigarettes because they allow you a controlled amount of nicotine,in this way your friend can quit smoking
