Default Still haven't found the most analog e-cig...

As a smoker for 16 years with up to a 2 packs per day appetite, this e-cig thing has been my obsession for the last month. I've researched this thing up and down and IMO, is the right way to go for a healthier future.

The e-cig has to look, feel, weigh, draw, and smoke like a real analog cigarette.

I'm talking about paper stripe texture and orange filters (kind of like GS.)

It has to fit in b/t my knuckles while I'm drinking.

It should fit into a boxed pack of regular cigarettes. Anything larger is too big, like GreenSmokes.

The radius should mimic the exact measurements of a regular filtered cigarette like my usual fav, Camel Turkish Silvers.

It has to stay in my mouth without falling out if I'm doing something with both my hands (GreenSmokes are way too heavy.)

Cartridges should have "filter" resistance while drawing vapor. ProSmokes felt like I was sucking out of an empty straw. And they shouldn't feel like cheap plastic on your lips.

They should light up only Red when in use. I do not prefer the Blue LED like some manufacturer's only make.

It has to be easy to use and maintain (i.e. 2-piece design.) ProSmoke's 3-piece design was nice but doesn't cut it in my book.

I'm not attracted to the rituals of dripping. I also don't want to worry about the liquid oozing out of the cartridge for any reason at all. I've had a Green Smoke cartomizer leak into my mouth and made it numb and tasted bitter.

It has to taste good too. ProSmokes didn't taste good to me (some kind of funky pre-drag smell) and GreenSmokes tasted kind of sweet (probably just the way Propylene Glycol and/or Vegetable Glycerin is.) I know it's probably never going to be perfect, but I'm still not satisfied enough yet. I am interested in White Cloud's Clove flavor.

I don't think "whistler tips" looks aesthetically pleasing and adds too much length and changes the look from a real cigarette.

I haven't found all of this in one product. They all suffer and excel in certain areas. The search continues...

Does anybody have any ideas where such a device exists? So far, White Cloud's Cirrus 3 has my undivided attention.

Thanks!
John

Unfortunately I have no suggestions but I gotta say I agree with you about how heavy and such some of them are. The only one I tried was disposable but it was just heavy, it felt more like a heavy pen than a cigarette and that annoyed me.

White cloud cirrus 2 is awsome. My cirrus 3 is in the mail. It is still thicker than a regular cig by about 2 mm. Your never going to get the weight down to a paper cig because of the battery but cirrus 3 is by far the closest. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Let me know what you think of the Cirrus 3! Have you tried the Clove flavor?

I tried the Cirrus 3 for a week expecting it to be an improvement, but it wasn't.

It had the same gauge and length as a Green Smoke with a shorter battery. White Cloud could pass as a Green Smoke with new skin.

The batteries charge fast and what not, but it's not a selling point for me.

The feel is still bulky and a bit unlike a real cigarette, which is still my gripe with these e-cigs. I don't want to hold a pen.

Going to search some more!

Default White Cloud Scandulous

Oh, and do not buy from White Cloud Cigarettes!

I bought the Cirrus 3 and got the free Car Charger and 2-year warranty for $289.95. I returned the product within their 10-day trial period because I didn't like the thickness of the product.

Guess what? I only received $231.96 credit back refunded to my account!

Where did the $57.99 go?

What kind of scam is this company?

Ugh!

Default The new Blu Cigs are awesome!

Just wanted to let you guys know, after extensive research, I've finally found a home with Blu cigs.

I originally started off with Pro Smoke and Green Smoke. Pro Smoke had the right size and feel, but it was 3 piece. Green Smoke was executed nicely and felt great, but was too thick and bulky for the long haul. I tried Smoke Stik because of the celebrity recognition, but it was just a repackaged Green Smoke.

I was looking for an e-cig with the shortest overall length, so it felt like a true cigarette. The Blu's are the shortest I could find. Most lengths were 100mm. Blu's are 86mm.

They also use a name brand Johnson Creek flavor that does not use Propylene Glycol in their solutions. I think any chemical that sounds like something you'd hear in Organic Chemistry shouldn't be in your lungs.

Blu also has new cartomizers that smoke great and are designed with a little resistance to the draw, so you don't feel like you're sucking your head in when taking a drag.

They definitely improved upon the design and I'm sold. Hope it helps you guys with your decision to find your e-cig choice.

I too researched this e cig thing before I took the plunge.
My dad was wanting to try one as he had to quit.

Most people want one that most mimics the real thing but it
seems to me they soon get tired of constantly recharging
and refilling and step up to a mod of some sort.

I decided to start with a tank system and a potent battery,
I purchased a Joye eGo Tank Type B Mega and loved it from the start.

Being a heavy full flavor smoker I went with the 24 mg nic and Virginia
tobacco flavor, soon learned I don't actually like the taste of cigarette juice.

I really liked the 24 mg Cappucino and a couple of fruit flavors at 11 mg
and in a few days I was happy with it and quit the real cigs very easily.

I started the wife on a 510 tank system and she loves the size and feel of it,
I like the fact it lasts a while and I am not constantly 'working' on it.

Find a system you like and a flavor and you have it conquered, Enjoy!
