Dakota was a brand that was marketed by RJR in select markets in the early 90's. I was given a pack at a club and smoked them for about a year as they were quite a bit cheaper than Marlboro and tasted the same. Then someone in RJR leaked a report to the media that showed Dakota was being marketed towards women smokers. Almost overnight they discontinued the brand. |
