These new fire safe cigarettes were first introduced in the State of New York around 3-4 years ago, and they supposedly worked in decreasing the number of house fires started because of cigarettes left burning. However they do change the way the cigarettes taste, as well as the smoking pleasure you get from them.

The best solution for this that I found was to buy your cigarettes from a domestic online store, however they have now started cramping down on 80% of the States where these online store operate. I know that any New York based store will not send you normal smokes anymore, cause you can't get them in New York State anymore. Also, recently the Local government of 4 of the major online supplier states have started putting these cigarettes into place, so soon enough your only option for non fire safe smokes will be international online stores to the states.

I am already ordering mine from Overseas, as they are cheaper, and although the taste is a little different, at least they don't burn out if you don't draw on them for some time.

It is disappointing that this has come about, and it is also unfortunate that European countries may follow suite, meaning that you won't be able to get normal smokes within the next few years.
