I've been smoking for 25 years. Individual non-smokers and ex-smokers no longer bother me. The lobby against smoking does bother me quite a bit. The way I look at it, "It is MY right to still smoke outside (the only place where smoking is still allowed)"
Outside a suite at the Indy 500, there were about 3 people out of 50 that smoked. I stood outside, lit up my cigarette, and dared anyone to tell me to put it out. After about 20 people went inside the suite I asked the man next to me if he wanted to light up a cigar so we could have a better view of the cars, ie more people would leave. No one yet has the nerve to ask me to put it out and if anyone ever does I have a response ready, "Can you still smoke outside? Or have you outlawed that too?" |
