As of sometime in '08, salvia is now illegal here - wouldn't you know it? It was selling for a premium as the date for the new law came near. Once, I had slightly less than an ounce that said Salvia on the package but, looked like colored sawdust to me and did nothing for me when smoked. Another time I had some of the actual plant itself and it did do something for me that only lasted about five or ten minutes and it was no where near the same as smoking some good columbian or jamaican or even lowly mexican weed. Another thing around here is that if you are in a headshop, you have to point at something (anything) that you want to purchase. You can't say: "I want to buy those papers or that pipe or even this freaky underwear". If you ask for whatever it is out loud by its name, you will be asked to leave the establishment. There are signs everywhere outlawing your speech. A lot of people don't see these signs and they walk in looking for rolling papers and saying so gets them kicked out of the headshop. I think that stupid rule is even worse than not being allowed to smoke.  |
