Be careful. Be aware that they do NOT value even their LONG-TERM customers. I had ordered 10 bags of tobacco from them recently, as I generally purchase enough to last me for several months. The box arrived crushed on one side, and since the box only had ONE piece of cheap mailing tape across the top that BARELY overlapped the sides of the box, the top had lifted up during impact and I could actually see inside the box. Since the amount of air in each bag of tobacco tends to vary, it was difficult for me to tell simply by squeezing if any of the bags of tobacco had lost their vacuum seal from the impact. I emailed customer service explaining all of this to them, asking them for their reassurance that if I were to keep the contents of the box and discovered down the road that any of these bags had indeed lost their freshness seal and had gone stale, that they would replace them without a hassle and that they would pay the shipping costs involved. I did tell them this might take months to discover since I had ordered TEN bags and didn't intend to open all ten at once to sniff them for freshness. I thought my proposal was pretty reasonable considering it was possible that all of the bags were fine and none had been damaged. This was their response... "If you feel there was significant damage to the package, as to cause damage to the sealed packages of tobacco, then we should take up the issue with UPS now, as they are responsible for the damages to the shipment. Note that you will need all of the original packaging for UPS to inspect as well. We will not in any case make any such open-ended promises on product to allow you to return it at our expense after holding the product for “several months” as you state. Craig Hibner Customer Service Manager" I responded... That's fine. Then how then do we take up an issue with UPS? And why was there only one relatively short piece of tape across a box that itself weighed 10 lbs? Like I said, I have no idea if any seals were broken, but yes, I am worried. And I don't intend to open 10 bags of tobacco all at once or to be squeezing them hard just to see if the bags are indeed still sealed, potentially breaking the seals myself in the process of trying to find out. I have NOT received any response back. So realize that if a problem DOES arise once you've paid for your order and the product arrives, their 'tough luck' attitude will quickly become apparent. Long-term customer? Tough Luck. Shop around. I've already found another online vendor that is cheaper. The only way I will ever place an order with this company again is if I absolutely HAVE to.

They have the worst customer service. They are rude, aggressive and condescending and will not work with you to address an issue. There are cheaper and better places to order from. Also, your tubes will all be smashed to the point where you can't use them because they will rip. BEWARE and don't waste your time or money.

Prior to finding this shop, my boyfriend and I always used a brick and mortar store near our house, so the prices on Smoker's Outlet looked amazing to us. My first order was pretty seamless and arrived on time without a problem. I was thrilled to find other products besides tobacco and tubes there too - their selection of candles, incense, and accessories is fun and priced really nicely. Unfortunately my second order is definitely not as seamless. I ordered early in the day, just after 12 noon, and my order was fairly large. I needed the items the next day so I cringed and paid a LOT in one day air shipping, expecting fully that my order would go out the same day. I never got a shipping notice though. The following morning (today), I still hadn't heard a word, so I used the contact form on their site to ask what was wrong. They did not email me back with any explanation, but about an hour later I received a shipping notice email with a tracking number. When I clicked on tracking I found, much to my disappointment, that the label had been created but the item hadn't gone out the door yet, and expected delivery was four days away (and I live maybe a few hours drive from their store). I again used the contact form and asked for assistance since I had paid almost 50 bucks just for the one day delivery. That was 6 hours ago, and I have yet to hear anything back. I am seriously disappointed and will be finding a different shop to make all of my future purchases. I should have picked up on the red flag when I had emailed them weeks ago asking for some recommendations on tobacco based on the cigarette tobacco I had previously purchased and our old cigarette brands - their meager response was not helpful at all, in fact I'd describe it as curt and impatient. I guess I should have known better after that experience! If you can find what you need on another site, I recommend steering clear of this one.

Shipping has always been above the competition. I ship things all the time and know what it costs to ship 10lbs. It's not what they charge you. You'll get an email telling you it's been shipped. It's pure bullshit. My orders typically leave 24-30 hours after the label is created. Just a little trick to make the customer service look better than it really is. I've had entire cartons of tubes show up almost unusable.

I tried this place to see how they were compared to rollyourown. They are a little higher on shipping but there products are always fresh and accurate. Best place I have ever used.
