I placed an order with snus central because they seemed to have good prices. In fact, their shipping cost was quite high - $19 on an order of 2 rolls. The shipping I was used to paying was around $6 with swedish-snus. The reason for the inflated shipping then became clear. They split up the order into 4 shipments of 5 rolls each without my consent. They explained that the packages were LESS likely to be caught in customs that way. In fact, only the first package passed customs, and the remaining 3 were charged $25 duty each. The contents were only worth $15. I sent them back to the company expecting either a refund, or for them to ship them back to me as 1 package. The company response was rude, stating that it was my responsibility to pay the duty on them. I have no problem paying the duty on ONE package, but not on 3. This inflates the customs fees considerably since there is a base fee for each package. You would think that they would acknowledge their part in the fiasco, but they were smug and uncooperative. Needless to say, I will be returning to swedish-snus. It is actually LESS money when you work in the extra shipping cost and the customs fees.

This sites warehouse is based in sweden but shipping is pretty fast. I've ordered from here three times and the longest wait was 8 days. They can't ship USPS because of pact, UPS shipping is kind of expensive so you have to order in decent sized bulk of around 20-30 cans to make it worth it, but they leave the tax payment up to you which whether that's significant depends your states tax rate on smokeless tobacco.
